Sutter “DarC” Cane is a horror artist whose identity remains deliberately undisclosed. With more than two decades of experience across film and game development, his work has become synonymous with the darker more transgressive edges of the genre. Over the years he has contributed to numerous extreme and controversial productions within Asian cinema including gore driven films that pushed boundaries so far that some were banned in the UK and other territories. His visual language is unapologetically brutal blending visceral body horror, psychological dread, and imagery designed to disturb on a primal level. Beyond production work, DarC has also taught the psychology of fear in university settings alongside courses on nightmare driven concept art, traditional oil painting, and the sculpting of clay maquettes. His philosophy is simple: horror should not comfort...it should haunt.
